The Opportunity:
As a Cyber Mission Specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. We’re looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience with network endpoint security tools, JOPES, cyber threat info, developing operations plans, cyber threat signatures, and monitoring tools, and impact our nation’s defense.
You’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and the U.S. Space Force to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to our nation's security. This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures for the mission area. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control. You Have:
- 3+ years of experience with cyber operations and information security in a joint environment, supporting space Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, and hardware systems
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework and its functionality
- Knowledge of analyzing and interpreting crypto data and patterns, and formulating senior level recommendations
- Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with on space-based remote sensing systems
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 or 5000.02
- Knowledge of Joint Force systems, operations, cyber mission planning, and execution
- Knowledge of Level 1 Maintenance and Depot Level 2
- TS/SCI clearance
- Master’s degree in Systems Engineering, IT, Information Assurance, or Information Security
- CISSP and CISM Certification
- Security+ Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
