Defense Analyst Lead

Key Role:

Provide Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Investment planning, acquisition strategy, Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), program management, and leadership and supervision to the client. Provide investment planning and budgeting for developmental and RDTE Information Technology solutions, including Cloud computing and software factory solutions. Support project planning, engineering cost estimating and budgeting, expenditure control, personnel planning, contract strategy and planning, program tracking and status reporting, requirements analysis, and execution planning for Mission Deployed Systems and Special Projects and equipment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with program management and project management, cost, schedule, and performance

  • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE)

  • Experience with leadership and contract management

  • Knowledge of Launch and Test Range System, USAF, and United States Space Force

  • Knowledge of DoD Appropriations process and Defense Program budgets

  • Ability to directly support senior government leadership with strategic-level recommendations

  • Ability to integrate between leadership, program management, appropriations, and budgets to provide project execution recommendations

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process

  • Knowledge of Space Launch and Ranges

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 135,000 to 145,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
