Key Role:

Leverage advanced physics research and advanced academic research expertise and tools to test and analyze physical materials and phenomena. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, working with optical communications systems development. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with LiDAR or Optical Communications

• Knowledge of RF signals and super continuum lasers

• Knowledge of optical modulators, digital modulation techniques, and fiber optics

• Ability to think independently and work towards prototype solutions

• Ability to set-up optical beam lines and make optical diagnostic measurements

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Master's degree in EE or Physics

Additional Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance

• Doctorate degree

Compensation:

The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 155,000 to 175,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
