Cybersecurity Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you actually have experience baking it in? Can you identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface? What if you could use your cyber engineering defense skills to lead and support the design and building of secure weapon systems for the DoD? We’re looking for an engineer who can create solutions for the DoD that will stand up to even the most advanced Cyber threats.

As a Cybersecurity engineer on our project, you’ll be building Cybersecurity into the nation’s missile defense shield to support mission critical operations. You’ll coordinate work with government program leads, government information systems security managers, in-house teams and OEMs to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer’s platform IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solution, so you’ll advise on new techniques, advanced risk mitigation methods, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You’ll support the team through a critical approach to network security design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security and mission needs. This is a chance to support a team of experts to make a difference in the security of the nation’s missile defense shield and its supporting systems. You’ll support efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. You’ll be able to broaden your skillset into areas like integrated control systems, internet of things, automation and orchestration of Cybersecurity, Cloud-based security, weapon system test and evaluation, and enhanced Cybersecurity architectures while building peace of mind in a critical infrastructure. As a trusted technical advisor, you’ll help identify new opportunities to use Cybersecurity solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. Become a team member on our team as we work to secure the nation’s missile defense shield through advanced Cybersecurity.
