Key Role:

Leverage physics expertise and tools, including masers, lasers, spectrometers to test and analyze physical materials and phenomena, and to support S&T client challenges. Apply advanced consulting skills and extensive technical expertise. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with product evaluations, quality studies and new product initializations

  • Knowledge of simulation and modeling

  • Ability to develop image quality equations to quantify the expected quality of a system

  • Ability to develop algorithm description documentation for software development

  • Knowledge of practical application of modeling components of the image path to include sensor, detector, atmospheric, and material properties

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Air Force and the intelligence cycle

  • MA or MS degree
