Spectral Research Scientist

Key Role:

Apply remote sensing principles, over-the-horizon radar system concepts, and a comprehension of the earth’s ionosphere to conduct research focused on target tracking. Research methods to combine, fuse, and track data generated from disparate and noisy sources and that, in the aggregate, can generate relevant intelligence information. Develop research objectives, methodology, run experiments, and document outcomes. Collect and locate existing data and collect new sources to meet goals, as needed. Work in a team of scientists and engineers collaboratively to meet outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with algorithm development and MATLAB or Python scripting

-Knowledge of RADAR

-Ability to learn new concepts and apply them to meet research objectives

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with HPC, image science, signal processing, EO/IR systems, and atmospheric science 

-MS degree in Physics or Engineering preferred

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and will need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
