Mobility Security Engineer

Key Role:

Provide mobile security subject matter expertise and leverage Defense in Depth (DiD) security strategies to iOS and Android mobile solutions. Leverage expertise in MobileIron mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAS) solutions, mobile threat detection tools, and wired and wireless network fundamentals to mitigate and remediate cyber vulnerabilities and threats. Identify required input and support strategies, security architecture, and decisions to bolster an organization's mobile security posture.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) tools, including MobileIron Core, VMWare Workspace ONE, and Blackberry UEM and EMM concepts
  • 3+ years of experience with iOS and Android mobile device operating systems
  • Knowledge of mobile threat defense vectors, remediation's and applications, including Zimperium and Lookout
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with mobile threat defense applications
  • 2+ years of experience with Windows and Linux servers, and VMware-based environments
  • 2+ years of experience with PKI concepts and applications, including DNS, Active Directory, SQL Server, and Web Servers, such as IIS
  • Experience with working in coordination with the commercial mobile industry to assess mobile technologies for the federal government
  • Experience with developing support desk and end-user documentation and training to promote cybersecurity best practices
  • Knowledge of PKI implementation, including X.509 certificates and certificate authorities
  • Ability to regularly monitor new mobile technology and the vendor and industry landscape
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills to develop technical briefs and convey complex technical topics to a diverse audience
  • Security+, CCNA, or CEH Certification
