System Administrator, Senior

As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll ensure the current infrastructure is functional and available You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like virtualization. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:

  • 9+ years of experience in systems administration in a professional environment

  • Experience with working with large-scale Windows based environments, commercial of the shelf applications, and government developed enterprise applications

  • Experience with administering and maintaining enterprise management software for Windows Server 2012 or 2016 in physical and virtual environments

  • Experience with providing Windows System Administration, including Group Policy management, Active Directory replication, Active Directory PowerShell commands, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) queries, and Active Directory Service Interface Editor (ADSIEdit)

  • Experience with configuring and managing virtual infrastructure technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V, and migration of virtual machines, such as P2V and V2V

  • Ability to configure, manage, and monitor Windows Internet Information Services IIS applications, and provide hands-on configurations with Linux or UNIX Operating System maintenance

  • Secret clearance

  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with database and Agile technologies, including Oracle databases, SQL database, SQL Querying, SQL Scripting, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies

  • Experience with network monitoring tools, including ServiceNow, SolarWinds or ScienceLogic SL1
