Agile Business Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Identify a client's business and system requirements and translate or decompose those needs into actionable software requirements, test criteria, and scenarios. Leverage expertise in domains, stakeholder relationships, and advanced capabilities to achieve goals. Apply expertise in the wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. Provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and ensure those solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Work under only general direction. Determine and develop approaches to solutions independently. Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with technology work

-3+ years of experience with requirements analysis

-Experience with requirements management tools, including JIRA and TFS
-Experience with distilling complex business processes into clear and actionable user stories with thorough acceptance criteria

-Experience with requirements gathering and analyzing data to determine solutions for issues

-Experience with conducting current-state and target state analysis and design for software applications

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in working with federal and DoD organizations, including the Air Force and Space Force

-Experience with identifying and assessing customer needs

-Experience with presenting recommendations to product owners based on findings
-Knowledge of several Agile frameworks, including Kanban, Scrum, XP, Lean, DevOps, or SAFe

-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients

-MA or MS degree

-Agile Certification
