You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test functions in support of space-related Major Defense Acquisition Programs, including space, ground, software, and hardware system
  • 5+ years of experience integrating technical, cost, schedule, risk, and contractual baselines to develop and deliver end-to-end space capabilities
  • Experience leading large-scale enterprise integration efforts for space and ground programs, including stakeholder engagement, project management, and communications
  • Knowledge of system engineering management and processes, including development phasing, life cycle integration, requirements development, analysis, testing, and integration
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals  
  • Ability to contribute to the DoD mission
  • Secret clearance  
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working directly with DoD, Air Force, and Space Force clients
  • Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space-based remote sensing systems
  • Knowledge of space sensing system design, development, and operations
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
  • Experience developing capabilities-based Integrated Master Plans (IMPs) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs)
  • Experience identifying and analyzing cross-program risks and developing and executing risk handling plans
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 and DoD systems engineering principles and policies 
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science 
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
