DevOps Engineer, Senior

As a DevOps engineer on our team, you’ll use your development experience to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production. You’ll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best – innovate. You’ll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like DevSecOps pipelines, automation, and Cloud-based technologies while developing software that will Improve space-related mission systems and applications. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

-3+ years of experience with software engineering and software development, including Web applications and technologies

-Experience with Cloud infrastructures, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Git-based technology

-Knowledge of the latest Cloud technologies

-Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop product backlogs, and provide technical leadership to the team

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree 

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with space-related ground systems and applications

-Experience with the DoD and awareness of operational missions

-Experience with managing private and public Cloud deployments of applications

-Experience with tools, including GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Puppet, Artifactory, Ansible, and Vagrant

-Experience with managing Cloud infrastructures, including Azure

-Experience with Docker or Kubernetes

-Experience with integrating an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution into infrastructure and web applications

-Knowledge of system and network architecture

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
