Project Control Organization Financial Analyst

The Challenge:

That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure the Department of Defense resources can make the most impact.

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll work on a financial management strategy to help your Client succeed. You’ll work with project management, task leads, subcontractors to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
 

This is an opportunity for you to learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll make sure the funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with project management, task leads, and subcontractors. This is your chance to use your skills in the Government sector while furthering your financial analysis experience. Join us as we help fuel the country's Space Systems capabilities with the funding they need. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with financial management or program control

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyze data, provide variance analysis, and make recommendations

  • Ability to track prior, current, and future status of project expenditures and revenue

  • Ability to prepare cost to complete estimates

  • Ability to prepare invoice reconciliations and verify travel expenditures

  • Ability to identify, research, and solve financial problems

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with contract financial management

  • Experience with applying formulas and functions to calculations and analysis in Microsoft Excel
