Signal Processing Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Function as a signal processing engineer, working in a communications lab environment that primarily specializes in software-defined radio (SDR) systems. Use your diverse skillset to develop high-performance digital signal processing (DSP) code, create robust graphical user interfaces (GUIs), create test suites and robust testing utilities, build out libraries and develop application programming interfaces (APIs) to drive efficient project development. Design algorithms that are computationally efficient and optimized for high data rate and low latency application. Drive value directly for your clients as well as to internal investment initiatives focused on building lab capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with the programming languages, including C or C++

-2+ years of experience with the programming languages, including Python and MTLAB

-Experience with Make or CMake, and revisioning software, including Git

-Experience with software development best practices

-Ability to learn new languages and frameworks as needed

-Ability to manage technical projects and groups of other engineers

-Ability to work in groups

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with programming Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms

-Experience with Unix and Network programming

-Experience with the Qt, Boost and Fastest Fourier Transform in the West (FFTW) libraries

-Experience with Jenkins, or similar Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems

-Experience with Docker, or similar operating-system-level virtualization software

-Experience with Python, Java, Bash, or similar high-level or programming languages

-Experience with Agile development

-Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree
