Space Innovation Systems Engineer

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in the DoD? You understand your customer’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer focused engineering solution.

As an engineer on our team, you’ll work with Booz Allen colleagues and your client to develop and rapidly deploy the next generation of resilient Missile Warning (MW), Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR), and Environmental Monitoring (EM) capabilities to deter attacks and provide critical information to our warfighters to defeat our enemies in battle. Your customer will trust you to not only test, analyze, evaluate, validate, and verify these systems, but also to use your ingenuity and broad knowledge of potential sources of new technologies and concepts, including applicable national labs, prototypes and products from SBIR activities, and other commercial IR&D efforts, to identify areas requiring mitigation up front to plan, develop, mature, and on-ramp technologies for use in future missions. You will influence senior clients on budgetary and investment prioritizations. You will also collaborate with DoD Science and Technology (S&T) organizations or similar entities to unearth future concepts, and create enterprise roadmap to capture, analyze, and communicate technology transition plans. Grow your skills by merging innovative engineering methodologies and cross-disciplinary coordination to create tomorrow’s solutions. Join our team and create the future of Remote Sensing in the Air Force.
