Health Care Improvement Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Assist clients with the process of continuous assessment and systematic improvement of care. Drive improvements in patient safety, quality of care, and patient experience. Apply health management consulting skills in support of the client including review of health care performance, identification of opportunities for performance improvement, and implementation solutions. Facilitate and evaluate performance improvement interventions in collaboration with key stakeholders from across the health system. Monitor and track all interventions. Develop briefings to share outcomes, next steps, best practices, and key challenges associated with various interventions. Support the clients overall goal of becoming a highly reliable organization. Ensure that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a health care setting, preferably in a clinical role

  • 3+ years of experience with safety, quality, or patient experience improvement initiatives

  • Experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale performance improvement efforts in a health system

  • Knowledge of program evaluation and data analytics

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail, multi-task, and adapt quickly to changing client priorities and ad-hoc requests

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working in a direct client-facing consulting role with a proven ability to build trust with clients and strong working relationships with on-site staff

  • Experience with the Military Healthcare System (MHS) or otherwise working directly with military leadership

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Possession of strong oral and written communication skills

  • Master of Science in Patient Safety Leadership, Certified Professional in Patient Safety, Certified Professional in Health Care Quality, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Lean, or Organizational Development Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,400.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
