Healthcare Improvement Analyst

Key Role:
Apply expertise in health care operations to assist clients with the process of continuous assessment and systematic improvement of health care policy, planning and delivery. Apply management consulting and data analytics skills in support of the Military Health System (MHS) and other federal clients. Conduct qualitative and quantitative reviews of health care operations and clinical care; identify opportunities for improvement; and develop solutions for implementation. Transform analysis into reports and recommendations that can be shared and used to inform policies and practices. Develop leadership briefings to share outcomes, best practices, challenges, and recommendations. Support the MHS' goal of improvement of health data management and integration. Ensure that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques. 

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in the healthcare industry

-Experience with data management and analytics

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and data visualization software

-Ability to adapt quickly to changing client priorities and respond to ad-hoc requests

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a direct client-facing consulting role and building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff 

-Experience with healthcare quality and safety

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in Clinical, Public Health, Health Data Management, or Healthcare Administration
