Healthcare Improvement Analyst, Senior

Key Role:
Apply expertise in healthcare operations to assist clients with the process of continuous assessment and systematic improvement of care. Drive improvements in patient safety, quality of care, and patient experience. Apply expertise in health management consulting to support the Military Health System (MHS), including the review of healthcare performance, identification of opportunities for performance improvement, and development of solutions for implementation. Plan, design, implement, and evaluate performance improvement interventions in collaboration with key stakeholders from across the health system. Provide project management support to oversee, track, and monitor all interventions. Develop leadership briefings to share outcomes, next steps, best practices, and key challenges associated with various interventions. Support the MHS' overall goals of becoming a high reliability, learning organization and ensure that all projects are conducted with sound methods and techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in a healthcare environment

-5 years of experience with safety, quality, or patient experience improvement initiatives, including planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale performance improvement efforts in a hospital or health system

-Experience with program evaluation and data analytics

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, and proactive, multi-task and adapt quickly to changing client priorities, and respond to ad-hoc requests

-BA or BS degree 

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience as an RN, MD, or PT

-Experience with working in a direct client-facing consulting role and building trust with clients to facilitate excellent working relationships with onsite staff

-Experience with the Military Healthcare System (MHS) or working directly with military leadership

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree in Healthcare Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement, or Patient Safety Leadership

-Certified in Patient Safety, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Lean Six Sigma (LSS), Lean, or Organizational Development Certification
