Physician Executive Advisor

Key Role:

Apply knowledge of the analysis process for performance, procedures, and processes of complex health systems to improve both efficiency and effectiveness and address priority operational challenges. Contribute on the delivery of operational solutions and ongoing performance management to help achieve operational excellence, quality, and safety. Apply this to a spectrum of operational environments across the provider, payer, research and life science, and public health segments. Provide leadership and mentoring for lower level employees. Contribute to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Work on unusually complex problems and provide solutions that are highly creative. Act as a leader on large programs or projects that affect the organization’s long-term goals and objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

-12+ years of experience as a practicing provider

-Experience with conferring with senior stakeholders

-Experience with analyzing client needs and recommending development and acquisition strategies

-Experience with advising the client on the impact of new legislation or new technologies relevant to their activity

-Ability to advise in the re-engineering of business processes to meet business goals, including strategic information technology business goals

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO)

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with developing professional presentations and publications

-Experience with the Military Health System or Veterans Affairs

-Experience with consulting

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BS degree in Nursing and MPH, MBA, or MHA degree

-Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE or BC)
