Communications and Multimedia Specialist

Key Role:

Support the project team in the development and implementation of innovative strategic communications and outreach programs and initiatives designed to proactively engage program members, government partners, and stakeholders. Produce material that assists with executing the communication management plan. Interview subject matter experts, program leadership, client representatives, and develop original approaches for each storyline. Leverage video products to facilitate collaboration and share information across organizational and geographical boundaries. Develop content in conjunction with the program communications plan and mission. Conceptualize original and creative story ideas along with working with the communications management team. Shoot b-rolls, conduct on-camera interviews with subject matter experts, and edit and produce video packages of varying lengths within short deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with communications, media production, and marketing communications

-Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) video production software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, InDesign, and Photoshop

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Experience with SharePoint

-Experience with multimedia or graphics design or development of strategic communications products

-Ability to collaborate on content creation, storyboard development, and video development concept process

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with audio products or producing audio pieces

-Experience with recording and producing 4K video, setting up green screens, recording video, and producing products with green screens

-Experience with preparing questions and interviewing subjects

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree
