The Challenge:

Acting as a DoD Chemistry Subject Matter Expert on our team, you’ll apply chemistry expertise to advise and assist our client to reduce non-traditional threats around the world. You’ll directly support your client’s Vaccines and Therapeutics program, working towards the discovery, development, transition, and delivery of medical countermeasure products to protect the lives of warfighters and enable their recovery from exposure to current and emerging biological threats. Your work will support the discovery and development of therapeutics for a range of viruses, pathogens and broad-spectrum antibiotics targeting multi-drug resistant bacterial threat pathogens. Additionally, your work will assist with the discovery and development of vaccines and bio-pretreatments and support Science and Technology activities in a broad range of areas including animal model development, novel manufacturing and bioprocessing technologies. You will coordinate R&D analytical support to our Defense Client with an emphasis on biological threats. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.

You Have:

  • Experience with working with public or private scientific research organization consulting
  • Knowledge of technical proposals and reports, experimental or theoretical techniques, scientific studies and statements of work to ensure technical validity and evaluate emerging chemical and biological defense technologies
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in preparing senior-level briefings and reports   
  • Experience providing subject management expertise to DoD clients 
  • Experience in physical chemistry, or a related field
