Core Enterprise Services Imagery Analyst

The Challenge:
Design, analyze, and develop geospatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic, and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products. Perform geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resource data. Plan, design, develop, document, and analyze spatial and relational databases. Apply software to manage spatial and related tabular data. Build databases by capturing map information with a coordinate digitizer. Produce computer map products depicting the contents of databases. Locate sources of GIS data. Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work under general supervision. Follow established procedures. Complete work that is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy. Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.

With Cloud-based tools, faster Graphic Processing Units (GPU), and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. That data is powerful in the hands of a skilled analyst who can turn it into mission critical  information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the customer environment.

As a Booz Allen geospatial analyst, you’ll be working with a team of domain experts to extract meaning and context from intelligence community (IC) dialogue in Jabber Chat and Chat Surfer and providing geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) and multi-intelligence (multi-INT) support using government provided data sources, including Cedillion or OMAR and display tools, including Remote View and SOCET GXP. You’ll find the patterns and connections to answer your customer’s Requests for Information (RFI) and address mission priorities using government resources. Your visualization skills will come in handy as you build activity based KMLs, heat maps, and terrain analyses reports and disseminate GEOINT products. You will also author various situational awareness reports for dissemination via chat to customers, the IC, and local leadership to make sure stakeholders have the timely information they need. We focus on growing as a team, so we’ll share techniques, work through challenges, and develop workflows.

This is an opportunity to build your GEOINT and multi-INT experience while developing products and strategies to satisfy customer’s intelligence challenges.  Join us as we turn data into knowledge to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

Empower change with us.
