Data Architect, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the senior Data Architect and provide software engineering services for data architectures and data frameworks in compliance with DoD and Army architecture products including Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) and, DoD Information Enterprise Architecture (DoD IEA). Provide software engineering services for architecture products, including Logical Data Models (LDM), Data Dictionaries (DD), Ontologies, Glossaries, and XML schemas. Provide software engineering services for Army Data Framework technical requirements, including Data Warehousing, Data-related Security, Meta Data Management, Authoritative and Master Data, Data Quality, Service-Oriented Architecture and Data Services, Data Supported Business Processes, Data Conformity, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Applications and Repositories, Enterprise Analysis/Reporting, Cloud Computing, and Business Intelligence. Provide technical and engineering consultation and support the use of data services concepts, standards, tools, and artifacts to data service providers and consumers. Provide software, processes, and technical engineering for securing data services IAW Army and DoD Cybersecurity requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with data design and architecture

-Experience with supporting the DoD or Army organizations

-Experience with the design of complex IT solutions involving multiple software solutions  applications, processing platforms, and legacy systems, including integration software development or management

-Experience with data management and governance

-Experience with developing, validating, publishing, and maintaining logical and physical data models

-Experience with database implementations, database language theories, database design, SQL, and database programming

-Experience with unifying data from multiple sources and supporting the use of data services

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with dimensional data modeling and schema design in operational databases and data warehouses

-Experience with the design and development of multiple object-oriented systems

-Experience with MagicDraw and Open-Source Software (FOSS), COTS, or GOTS products

- Experience with Army headquarters and ARSTAFF
