Combat Training Center Analyst

The Opportunity:

As a Combat Training Center (CTC) Analyst, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for someone like you to help create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As a CTC Analyst, you will assist U.S. Army clients in planning and organizing training for unit training rotations at CTCs and participate in CTC-focused Operation Planning Teams (OPTs), and CTC back briefs with Command and Senior Leadership. You’ll be responsible for maintaining CTC data in the Unit Training Scheduling Tracker (UTST) while making sure it matches the Army Synchronization Tool (AST) and the Command CTC Sync Matrix. As required, you will serve as the representative for CTC planning events, rotational Initial Planning Conferences (IPCs) and the annual CTC Commanders Conference while providing back briefs and feedback to Army leadership, as needed. You’ll also be required to distribute CTC rotational planning conference notifications, prepare CTC Enterprise-Level Application (eLAS) taskers, and prepare responses to CTC Observer Controller or Trainer Command taskers for the Army client.

You Have: 

  • 10+ years of experience with military collective training
  • Experience with Army training and exercise doctrine, including respect to training rotations of the CTC, and reserve component pre- and post-mobilization training requirements and challenges
  • Experience with working on a Brigade-level or higher staff
  • Experience with using Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of the Multi-component Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) training environment assisting Enablers Above Brigade (EAB) integration
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with the U.S. Army Reserve and joint operations
  • Knowledge of government systems, including AST, Force Management System Website (FMSWeb), Army Training Information Management System (ARTIMS), Combined Arms Training Strategy (CATS), and Army Training Network (ATN)
  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
