Network and Computer Systems Engineer

The Opportunity: 

As a network and computer systems engineer on our team, you'll translate our customer’s IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting solutions that solve the most vexing problems in DoD today. Through your expertise, we’ll help transform the way our client uses technology, including cloud migration, integrating advanced technology, and modernizing legacy systems. You Have: 

  • Experience with hardware and software asset management processes and procedures

  • Experience working with APIs

  • Knowledge of Windows 10 Operating System and ServiceNow

  • Ability to forecast client requirements

  • Ability to continuously research emerging technologies, strategically introduce new capabilities into operational networks and perform change management activities per industry best practices

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • DoD IAT Level II Certification

Nice If You Have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in performing technical work on DoD networks

  • Experience with integrating tools in the IT Ecosystem into ServiceNow, including ACAS, SP Buse, Splunk, McAfee, and Microsoft SCCM or MECM

  • Experience with Certificate Authority (CA) and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

  • Experience in User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA)

  • Experience in leading technical discussions with key stakeholders concerning client pain points and concerns

  • Experience with designing, implementing, or managing systems related to DoD’s Zero Trust strategy

  • Knowledge of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) and Mobile Device Management (MDM)

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • CISSP, CAP, ITIL v3, or ITIL v4 Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
