Unit Training Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as the primary Army client unit's point of contact for coordination with other Major Army Commands for unit readiness exercise support. Maintain routine oversight for scheduling, execution, and evaluation of unit training. Ensure all Mission Command Staff training events are loaded into the Mission Analysis Readiness Resource Synchronization (MARRS). Coordinate changes to scheduled training and resolve conflicts utilizing workshops and daily contact as needed, in the scheduling process. Assist with analyses and studies for the development of future training processes, including development of Sustainable Readiness training strategies which will lead to redesign of the Battalion Level Training Model (BLTM), the Training Resource Model (TRM). Advise, assist, mentor, and furnish information through papers and briefings, as requested. Lead the scheduling and initial planning for Command Post Exercise-Functional (CPX-F) events for brigade and higher headquarters units. This position requires the ability to travel 10% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with MARRS, the Army Training Information Management System (ARTIMS), and the Force Management System (FMSWeb)
  • Experience with the scheduling, execution and evaluation of unit training
  • Experience with the use of Microsoft products, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of the Battalion Level Training Model (BLTM), the Training Resource Model (TRM)
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree or 5 years of experience with USAR unit readiness exercise support

 Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Army unit commander
  • BA or BS degree in Analytics
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • FA57 or CP36 Simulation Operations Officer Qualification
