Global Agile Integrated Transport Network Engineer

Key Role:

Analyze local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) systems for an Army client, including planning, designing, evaluating, and selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve interoperability problems to obtain operations across all platforms, including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, and teleconferencing. Manage the internetworking of various operating systems, including windows NT/95 and one or more versions of UNIX across both LAN/WAN. Monitor the performance and stability of networks. Configure systems to user environments. Support the acquisition of hardware and software and subcontractor services, as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with the military in the signal communications field

-Experience in a technical role inside a Division, Corps, echelon above Corps NetOps, or Engineering Team

-Knowledge of IP networking and processes

-Knowledge of the PM Tactical Network tactical terminals routing, switching, and firewalls management planning, implementation, and troubleshooting

-Knowledge of the PM Tactical Network, including PM WIN-T architecture

-Knowledge of Routing functions, NetOps, Information Assurance (IA), Voice, and Communications Security

-Active Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-BA or BS degree

-Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification
