Information System Security Officer

Key Role:

Support developing and implementing system information security standards and procedures in a DoD Cyber Security Enterprise Environment. Provide Cybersecurity oversight, guidance and support to the general user in accordance with the requirements of a client Cybersecurity program. Perform the IAM Level II functions described in 8570.01. Support and operate the Army’s EMS component of the Army Training Information System (ATIS), previously known as Distributed Learning System (DLS).

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with developing and implementing system information security standards and procedures in a DoD Cyber Security Enterprise Environment
  • Experience with testing, evaluating, and preparing systems for security certification under National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and/or Risk Management Framework (RMF) for IS guidance
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity policy, guidance and training requirements, IAW Army Regulation (AR) 25-2.
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree
  • DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
