Cognitive Performance Coach, Senior

Key Role:
Apply subject matter expertise in the areas of psychology, performance psychology, counseling, or kinesiology to conduct research across seven functional areas, including cognitive enhancement and accelerated learning, instructor development and training, tactical training, holistic human performance training, curriculum development technology, and program evaluation and assessment. Analyze the development of research procedures. Leverage simulation technology and biofeedback to promote excellence and efficiency during physical, technical, and tactical training, including during the challenges of combat operations or pressure situations. Gather data and compile information into documents regarding sport psychology, including mental and cognitive enhancement training techniques.

Basic Qualifications:

-7 years of experience with psychology, counseling, or kinesiology, including sport and performance psychology

-Experience in conducting research in psychology, counseling, or kinesiology

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-PhD degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Kinesiology with emphasis in sport and performance psychology

-Army Performance Expert Certification

-Graduate of Army’s Master Resilience Training Course
