Chief Enterprise Architect

The Challenge:
Everyone is trying to “harness the power of the Cloud,” but not everyone knows how. As a chief enterprise architect, you are viewed as an expert in IT systems architecture. You have experience with undertaking complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge and making well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues. 
 

As a chief enterprise architect on our team, you’ll coordinate with users to determine requirements, ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency, establish and communicate common goal and direction for the team, and act as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for junior staff. Your technical expertise will be vital as you work with the Department of the Army to ensure standards are met throughout the Cloud migration process. This is an opportunity to use the latest Cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your customer’s environment using current Cloud capabilities. You’ll be able to sharpen your skills while developing critical systems for our client.  As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to build Cloud-based solutions to help your customers meet their evolving needs. You Have:
-Experience with solving unique Cyber risk issues pr problems and Cloud Access Point (CAP) integration

-Experience with conducting enterprise Cloud security readiness assessments and analyzing prospective commercial Cloud platforms or environments

-Experience with the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support virtualization and enterprise Cloud platform adoption for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) supporting GOTS and COTS applications

-Experience with designing and developing Cloud specific security policies, standards, and procedures, including account management or password or key management to vulnerability threat assessment for IL 2 and 4 applications per the DoD Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and Security Technical Implementation Guidance (STIG) applicable to Cloud hosting

-Experience with executing enterprise Cloud security engagements across the life cycle, including strategy, design, implementation and operations

-Knowledge of DoD Cloud Computing SRG, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and STIG applicable to application development, Cloud hosting, and industry Cloud security strategies

-Knowledge of DoD Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA)

-Ability to provide documentation and knowledge transfer to government and third-party vendors during and after task implementations

Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

-Experience with training existing application teams on the use and development of new capabilities within Cloud-based environments and introducing DevOps engineers and Cloud operations personnel

-Experience with gathering feedback and establishing iterative processes for first generation Cloud migration candidates

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree in CS
