Social Media Analyst

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As a social media analyst, you will provide social media analysis, assessments, and long-term proficiency in publicly available information (PAI) tools in support of the client's communication strategy. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our Troops.

As a social media analyst on our team, you will monitor the social media environment for reflections of client operations, activities, and engagements, and assess the effectiveness of the client's operations and communication efforts using social media feedback. Using your understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources including emerging PAI tools and software, such as Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), DATAMINR, Sprinklr, SILO, Berber-Hunter Toolkit, PULSE, or other comparable systems. You’ll validate information and apply client tradecraft as you assist the client in establishing a presence in the information environment, builds its social media following, increases the frequency and intensity of its communication efforts, and participates in U.S. Army, Joint, and Multinational exercises in the U.S. and overseas.

As the authority on social media, your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise, develop new skills in social media and learn more about how it impacts military operations and share your methodologies with other analysts. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our clients.
