Configuration Management Specialist, Senior

Key Role:

Provide product configuration services for manufacturing operations and processes to meet business needs and requirements. Apply advanced consulting skills and/or extensive technical expertise; full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction; mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with identifying configuration items, performing periodic audits, and providing verification of version release configuration items

  • Experience with developing and maintaining CM process standards and plans, and analyzing procedures

  • Experience with managing changes in process while ensuring methods and processes are properly approved, communicated and managed throughout the CM process

  • Experience in planning, evaluating, directing, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating CM activities on large, complex programs or projects

  • Ability to communicate technical topics effectively by both oral and written

  • Ability to describe and document issues for different audiences, managers, system engineers, and administrators

  • Ability to prepare and present briefings and communications between engineering disciplines

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • Configuration Management Training Foundation (CMTF) Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience working on Configuration Management related DOD Enterprise Information Technology
