The Challenge:

As a data scientist, you can leverage your analytic skills to tackle complex problems against social and computer networks, cutting-edge technologies, cyber threats, dataflow, analytic development platforms, and more.
We're looking for a data scientist with the skills to work in a dynamic mission environment, working side-by-side with analysts and developers to solve real-world problems with big data. Never before has it been more critical to apply data science techniques to drive innovation in national security. You'll apply expertise across multiple domains, including data engineering, data mining, predictive analysis, machine learning, AI, data visualizations, and analytic development. You'll collaborate with subject matter experts across technical domains to develop solutions. You Have:
3+ years of experience with data science
Experience with data modeling or data analysis
Experience in building and applying machine learning models
Experience applying advanced mathematical and statistical techniques
Experience with analyzing large datasets and developing analytics
Experience with data engineering
Experience with developing and deploying data ingestion, processing, and distribution systems in on-premise or Cloud environments
Ability to analyze large data sets and develop automated analytics
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining on-premise and Cloud based software services
Experience with Jira Agile tools, working in an Agile environment, or using Scrum methodologies
Experience with Scripting, including PowerShell, Python, Scala, Java, and Shell
Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of Jira, Git, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift (OCP), or Docker
Knowledge of DevOps principles
Knowledge of Big Data Application leverage technologies, including Hadoop Map Reduce, Hadoop Hive, or Hadoop Cluster, designing and building database solutions, including tables, stored procedures, or queries, Zeppelin, Spark, Spark Streaming, Kafka, Storm, Scala Software development, SageMaker, EC2, and EMR
Master's degree in CS, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical engineering field
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
