Financial and Budget Planning Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Prepare operating budget analysis for units and departments based on actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and expense reports. Review expenditures of requisitioning departments to ensure conformance to budget, maintain records of expenses, inventories, and budget balances, and audit vouchers and expense accounts. Maintain records of actual operating figures for comparison with the estimated budget. Assist with the installation of budgetary control systems and use a computer to input, retrieve, and display budget information. Plan, assign, and supervise assignments, assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance, and review progress with management. Analyze and apply organization policy and recommend changes in procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with business, accounting, budgeting or financial analysis for intelligence community (IC) programs or the DoD
  • Experience with productivity and management methods, including quality assurance, process or status reports, budgetary status reports, and program reviews
  • Ability to work with functional specialists, automation specialists, contractors, vendors, and customers to automate the client's requirements into automated applications
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office Suite Certification
  • Microsoft Excel Subject Matter Expert Certification
