The Opportunity: 

With all the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence professional to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. With the critical decisions made in our government every day, we need someone like you to do just that. As an intelligence planner, you use your specialized functional experience and your attention to detail to develop assessments and plans to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.

As an intelligence planner on our team, you’ll assist in developing campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Additionally, planners assist with intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process. You’ll work as part of an intelligence planning team and ensure intelligence equities are integrated into strategic and operational-level military planning and execution. You will help document intelligence resourcing gaps and shortfalls and develops mitigation strategies, integrate intelligence products and services supporting the Joint Planning Process (JPP), and synchronize the intelligence cycle supporting collection, analysis, production, and targeting. You Have: 

  • 8+ years of experience in intelligence analysis

  • 2+ years of experience working at a CCMD or joint command

  • Experience with multiple intelligence functions, including planning, collection, analysis, and targeting

  • Experience with participating in joint working groups and forums and briefing senior defense and intelligence officials

  • Knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and outputs, including JIPOE, Center of Gravity Analysis, Enemy Course of Actions, or Annex B

  • Knowledge of IC-standard intelligence and production tools, databases, techniques, and platforms

  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

  • Bachelor’s degree 

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience as an intelligence planner supporting joint command-level organizations

  • Experience with intelligence support to cyberspace operations

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including confidently interfacing with leadership

  • Master's degree

  • DoD Intelligence Planning Course Certifications

  • Completion of Joint Professional Military Education, including Phase I or II
     

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
