Mission Support Analyst - Senior

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the Army. What if you could use your analytical skills to help them make informed decisions? With all the information available today, it takes a skilled analyst to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As an intelligence analyst, you use your specialized technical, language, regional, functional, or military experience and your attention to detail to develop reports, intelligence, products, and analytic assessments to give your client the actionable intelligence and context they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

As an intelligence analyst on our team, you’ll help your client achieve their analytic goals, support investigations, or provide products for the consumption of the intelligence community.  Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you’ll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources, including SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, MASINT, and open source. You’ll validate information and develop tradecraft as you build assessments for counterintelligence clients. As the authority on your topic your client will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset into counterintelligence.  You’ll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources to learn new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our national security.

Serve as a mission support analyst and provide strategic-level, analytic support to offensive counterintelligence (CI) operations for an Army client. Support the client operations officer in staffing processes for all operations. Interact regularly with government agency counterparts to promote the client’s mission, maintain a common operating picture for the client's operational portfolio, and provide situational awareness of DoD-wide operational trends. Create analytic products, including link analysis charts and thematic timelines, conduct trend and social network analysis, build and vet targeting packages, and conduct database checks specifically in support of client operations. Assess broad trends across operations, develop future operational leads, and de-conflict current and future targets and venues. Follow foreign military, political, and science and technology developments in order to assess implications for operational planning.
