Network Automation Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Analyze complex local and wide area network systems, including planning, designing, evaluation, selecting operating systems and protocol suites and configuring communication media with concentrators, bridges, and other devices. Resolve difficult interoperability problems to obtain operation across all platforms, including e-mail, files transfer, multimedia, teleconferencing, and the like. Configure systems to the user environment. Support acquisitions of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services. Act as a technical project leader or provide work leadership for junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer
  • Experience with automation tools
  • Experience with designing and architecting new LAN and WAN solutions
  • Knowledge of routing, switching, firewall, and intrusion detection or prevention technologies
  • Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree in CS or EE or 10 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins
  • Knowledge of DoD networks and organizations
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • CCDA, CCNA, or Security+ Certification
