Project Analyst, Junior

The Challenge:

You know the secret to a successful project is tracking the balance between resources and performance. You can look at metrics, identify risk indicators, and plan changes to keep the project within budget and on time while achieving goals successfully. What if you could use those project analysis skills to make a difference in the DoD? We have an opportunity for a project analyst to join our team as we prepare reports on programs and budgets, financial presentations and other materials to support our client's programming and budgeting processes. Develop sustainable business processes to support and maintain funding profiles for programs, projects, and contracts. Analyze budget and financial planning for an organization, organizational unit, program, and expenditure and cost center to identify potential variances. Assist with monitoring expenses against budgets for the government with strategic business planning and analyze financial data and transactions for appropriate use.

On our team, you’ll help project leadership to monitor cost, schedule, and performance using tools like MS Project & DoD budget database interactions with leads and the client. The real power of project analysis comes from communication, so you’ll create, analyze & prepare the program and budget information for submission to the client. Assist with the preparation of capabilities requests, point papers, briefing charts, spreadsheets, memos, and other documents within prescribed timelines for review and analysis along with assisting with any recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools.
