SIGINT Application Developer

The Challenge:
Are you passionate about building software that provides an amazing user experience for signals intelligence (SIGINT) analysts protecting our national security interests? We’re building a team of software engineers who build features and components of solutions from vision to production-ready systems. This role is more than just coding. We need front-end and middle-tier developers who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify needed system improvements, and mentor teammates. Using the full SDLC, you’ll be part of an Agile development team delivering quality software that helps analysts perform geo-centric, data-centric and other intelligence analysis activities. You Have:
-5+ years of experience with user centered design and with building intuitive user interfaces using Angular, ReactJS, or other Web application UI frameworks
-Experience with creating intuitive digital user experiences for a wide base of users 40,000+ ranging from novice to expert
-Experience in working with an Agile or Scrum development process
-Experience with back-end development of RESTful APIs and best practices of using Web frameworks and relational database systems
-Experience with relational database system design, modeling, and querying using SQL
-Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and other CI and CD technologies
-Ability to support software development and maintenance activity, troubleshoot application and database issues
-Ability to maintain and develop transactional or operational systems using technology
-Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
-BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:
-Experience with the configuration of Custom Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and other third-party services
-Experience with Node.js, Typescript, and JSON
-Experience with applying decision making techniques and best practices to figure out the best way forward
-Experience with incorporating accessibility needs, including screen reader support
-Knowledge of DoD software development practices
-Knowledge of content management solutions (CMS)
-Knowledge of Cloud architecture
-Knowledge of database technologies, including Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
-Ability to work with users to research for and document user profiles, analysis tasks, workflows, and user scenarios
