Mission Assurance Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Provide non-personal professional services for a DoD client and manage the application of analytical risk management principles that enable organizations to achieve mission assurance by preparing for, preventing, mitigating, responding to, and recovering from emergencies. Work independently with some guidance, review or guide activities of other team members, and assist with planning, coordination, and activities of a team conducting protection program higher headquarters assessments at military installations. Conduct pre-assessment work to include data gathering, research, and coordination, execute, assist with documenting and reporting the findings of installation assessments as part of a team. Use various automated tools, databases, and other software programs to support assessment activities, prepare observations and recommendations for installation leadership and staff. Assist team lead to prepare briefing materials and collaborate with active duty and civil service government staff and counterparts across organizations and other government agencies. Perform work in program areas that include force protection, physical security, structural and infrastructure engineering, emergency management, and communications systems. This position requires extended hours outdoors, and sometimes in austere conditions with travel up to 25% of the time. This position is located in San Antonio, Texas.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in mission assurance programs with DoD organizations
  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management concepts in a mission assurance environment
  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of Antiterrorism Officer (ATO) Level II training

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with assessments
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
