Intelligence Functional Manager

The Challenge:

Critical decisions are made every single day in the military. What if you could use your leadership skills and deep knowledge of Intelligence programs to help senior military decision makers leverage critical intelligence disciplines to enhance and integrate the Command’s capabilities into the broader Intelligence Community enterprise? With dynamic changes in policy and doctrine, it takes a skilled Functional Manager to interpret these changes and effectively advise leaders on how to apply these changes without disrupting mission capability. As a subject matter expert, you will use your specialized knowledge, leadership, and military experience to synchronize the programmatic demands of two major commands. You will stay abreast of emerging policies at the national, DoD, and service component levels, monitor shifts in program direction, and help to craft future requirements while identifying the resources needed to support them.

You will constantly leverage your leadership skills via participation in inter-agency programmatic working groups where you will articulate your client’s equities effectively and communicate critical information from higher commands to your clients. Your ability to liaise with professionalism and diplomatic acumen between your client and external agencies will be key to your success. You will ensure your client’s equities are properly represented and upheld. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so you’ll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. Join us as we provide the right information at the right time to support the critical needs of our clients.
