Key Role:
Provide input to Army and Joint explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED), and identity activities plans, orders, policies, and programs. Conduct mission analysis, including staff estimates, courses of action, and decision support templates for campaign and contingency plans. Coordinate with a Combatant Command (COCOM), other service component commands, and interagency stakeholders to properly plan, prepare, and resource strategic and operational requirements. Participate in or facilitate Operational Planning Teams bureaus, boards, cells, conferences, and working groups events, information paper development, operational and strategic assessments, and response to or creation of Requests for Information. Participate in the development, analysis, and evaluation of policy, processes, or systems related to EOD, C-IED, and site exploitation. Support other initiatives and requirements, including organizational assessment and input to higher headquarters. Contribute to synchronization of objectives, activities, and investments in a matrix organization with multiple functional areas.
