Tactical Analysis Facility Lead

The Opportunity:

You'll maintain responsibility for the organization, direction, coordination, and conduct of the Tactical Analysis and Feedback Facility (TAFF) in support of the After Action Review development and presentation process for the Operations Group. You will maintain appropriate staffing and manage the team that collects, analyzes, and inputs the activities of the rotational units and OPFOR units participating in the exercise. Your team will use the collected and analyzed data to support After Action Reviews (AARs) and Take Home Packages (THPs).

You Have:  

  • 8+ years of experience with Army and Joint training doctrine and policy 

  • 4+ years of experience with the Army, conducting operations at the Brigade level and below

  • 2+ years of experience with live, virtual, and constructive exercises at the Brigade level and below

  • 2+ years of experience as a Battalion or Brigade Operations Sergeant Major, Operations Officer, or Executive Officer

  • Experience staffing and on-boarding surge personnel, and integrating LVCG training enablers 

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel 

  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

  • Secret clearance 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Graduate of a MEL 4, ILE, CGSC Education, or Sergeant’s Major Academy

Nice If You Have:  

  • Experience with Combat Training Center (CTC) Information Systems

  • Experience as Combat Training Center (CTC) Observer, Controller, and Trainer (OC/T) or in a CTC TAFF

  • Experience managing an Army Tactical Operations Center

  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving skills 

  • Master’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
