Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Support a Cybersecurity mission and apply expertise in the subject matter to client programs in various Cybersecurity areas, including the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Perform risk analysis and compliance activities by leveraging DoD-approved assessment tools and procedures. Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) content and tools. Consult headquarters-level decision-makers on the technical implementation of solutions for the sustainment of Cybersecurity across multiple technology areas. Support the research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and threats and assist with organizational goals.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with Cyber work

-Experience with STIGs, vulnerability scanning, and traditional or physical security

-Experience with implementing DoD Cybersecurity requirements and analyzing policies and procedures, including assessment and authorization activities

-Experience with conducting vulnerability and compliance assessments and risk mitigation

-Knowledge of Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) criteria and technical Cyber compliance inspections

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with eMASS, HBSS, ACAS, or SCAP Compliance Checker (SCC)

-Experience with Cisco or Juniper Layer 2/3 device configurations

-Experience with secure configuration or hardening of DoD information systems

-Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Microsoft Windows servers or workstations

-Experience with implementing RMF for mission or weapon systems

-Ability to provide guidance on DoD and Air Force Cyber regulations and requirements to engineering and software development staff

-AA, AS, BA, or BS degree preferred; MS degree a plus
