HR Business Partner, Lead

Key Role:

Partner with leaders or frontline managers to guide and support employee performance, behavior and risk management. Partner with business leaders to comprehend team and individual performance or behavior concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance, follow up for successful completion, and monitor for improvement. Identify, resolve, and escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner, and serve as a champion of change to drive adoption of new approaches, programs, and technologies. Contribute to the strategic direction, formulation, and implementation of HR operations, and drive process optimization and positive employee experience. Evaluate the employee environment using data and insights to identify gaps and drive opportunities for improvement. Engage partners across Security Services, Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Investigations as needed to assess risk and finalize employee disciplinary or terminations as needed. Lead Performance and Behavior Management team through complex HR investigations including mediation and conflict resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with supervising and managing an HR team

-Experience with International HR processes including state and local labor laws

-Experience with developing client education and training programs in the HR field

-Experience with using data insights and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact on an organization

-Experience with leading confidently through change and contributing to strategic decisions in the HR field

-Knowledge of HR technology, including HRIS or Workday

-Ability to be results driven and a trusted advisor to leaders, peers, and employees with a consultative approach

-Ability to problem solve a variety of complex, highly sensitive employee or people issues

-Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with Human Resources and consulting or Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience with Human Resources and consulting

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Workday HRIS

-Experience with Employee Relations

-Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

-Possession of excellent analytical, conflict-resolution, and problem-solving skills

-Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration

-SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or equivalent Human Resources Certification
