IT Audit Response Analyst

The Challenge:

The right mixture of great ideas and financial systems and audit expertise can create powerful change. In a complex organization, having a strong control environment over systems and data to support financial statement and other compliance reviews can be a challenge. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations governed by the Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure a defense client's Advana Platform audit yields favorable results.

As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a audit strategy to help the client respond to its annual Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) 18 audit and other financial statement audit engagements on the Advana Data Platform succeed. You’ll work with product leads, IT developers and engineers, audit response team, and a project management office to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.

Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well-formed audit requirements. Throughout the audit engagements funding is in place, you’ll make sure the audit strategy is executed efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with product leads, IT developers and engineers, an audit response team, and a project management office. This is your chance to work on a high level data platform that allow users of all levels and across various services to access enterprise data and analytics in a scalable, reliable, and secure environment while imparting your financial analysis expertise to your team. You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience with internal or external financial or IT audit, accounting, or financial reporting
  • Experience with audit remediation and corrective action plans
  • Experience with reviewing or testing internal controls
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with developing executive-level briefings
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and report on large data sets
  • Active Secret clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience in auditing with a Big 4 or large regional public accounting firm in the public or private sector
  • Experience with government contracting rules and regulations
  • Experience with data analytics and data platforms
  • Ability to show a team–orientation to work within a collaborative matrixed environment
  • Ability to facilitate discussions yielding positive outcomes
  • CPA License or CDFM, CGFM, CISA, CIA, or PMP, Certification preferred
