The Challenge:

We have an opportunity for you to use your technical and analytical skills to improve the defense industry. You’ll work closely with delivery teams to understand their customer’s questions and needs, and then help ensure analytic solutions are designed and developed to meet clients’ functional and technical requirements. You will support a cloud based QLIK Sense dashboarding capability and fine tune it to help dig into data-rich environments to find the pieces of client’s information puzzles. You’ll support a large scale data platform supporting algorithms, scripts, predictive analytics, automation, machine learning, and the right combination of tools and frameworks to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help military leaders make informed decisions. You’ll provide your customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can use it.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience with designing and developing IT solutions in the cloud using customer and commercial off the shelf (COTS) tools
• 5+ years of experience with working with Qlik Sense
• Experience with Qlik QMC and Qlik Hub
• Experience with customizing reports using 3rd party extension such as Vizlib
• Experience with configuring Qlik security at the object and data levels
• Knowledge of cloud tool deployments and configuration management of tools in a cloud based environment
• Secret clearance
• BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience in DevOps, Agile Methodologies, CICD methods and tools
• Experience with Cloud infrastructures
• Experience with developing complex data visualizations, including “mashups,” multi-level linked applications
• Experience with enabling high availability and high throughput on cloud based dashboarding tools to ensure performance and scalability
• Experience with SQL programming, Stored Procedures, SQL debugging & Triggers
• Experience with writing highly optimized stored procedures, tables and views, efficient SQL queries, and appropriate utilization of indexes
• Experience with developing code modules that are in compliance with best practices, standards, and that adhere to the enterprise architecture
• Experience with identifying opportunities to optimize existing SQL Stored Procedures, Packages, or Reports
• Knowledge of performance-tuning queries
• Knowledge of the development of logical and physical data models, especially data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Possession of excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Top Secret clearance preferred
• MA or MS degree
