Software Engineer, Mid

The Challenge:

Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software but contribute to a powerhouse engineering team focused in modernizing enterprise IT infrastructure through automation and self-service enablement? As a software engineer, you know a good tool is composed of more than just a nice standalone script. You know you need the right combination of clean code, orchestration engine, tooling, and infrastructure to build a user-focused solution. We are looking for a software engineer with the skills needed to help our customers overcome their most difficult self-service enablement challenges using the latest DevOps concepts such as infrastructure as code.

This role is more than just coding. We need a Software Engineer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, and identify and implement system improvements. Using Agile life cycle development, JavaScript, Python, and orchestration tools such as VMware vRealize Automation, VMware vRealize Orchestration, and Ansible, you'll work with the team to create custom automation code with consistent performance and scalability. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. Join us as we build systems to change enterprise-wide adoption of infrastructure as code principles and self-service automation for the better.
