Systems Administrator, Junior

Key Role:

Perform maintenance and support tasks for a large Microsoft 365 environment, including customer support. Resolve issues and communicate troubleshooting information to customers with varying levels of expertise. Monitor a Help Desk queue and take the initiative to resolve trouble tickets. Participate in tech support on-call rotation outside of normal business hours.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in Microsoft 365 Online or Exchange on-premises environment

  • Ability to install patches and security updates on Windows Servers, including 2012 and later

  • Ability to work with clients to troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, especially Outlook and Exchange

  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, troubleshoot issues, and offer guidance and recommendations for improvements

  • HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Microsoft 365 Online or Exchange on-premises environment

  • Experience with email gateways

  • Experience with customer support and resolving trouble tickets

  • Possession of strong customer service skills, including verbal and written proficiencies

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Microsoft Certifications, including Windows Server or any Office 365 product
