Key Role:
Conduct tactical, operational, and strategic assessments of Building Partner Capacity programs and provide subject matter expertise in environmental analysis and development of theater strategy, campaign planning, contingency planning, theater posture, force allocation and deployment priorities, political and military prioritization, and unconventional (UW) and irregular (IW) warfare. Support planning processes generating the Geographic Combatant Command Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) and the client's strategic plans. Analyze TCP supporting Lines of Efforts (LOEs) and Intermediate Military Objectives (IMOs) for threat actors, enable partner nation military capabilities, enhance the capabilities of partner nation institutions, and deter adversary interventions. Support contingency planning and development to provide the courses of action and analysis required for deliberate planning and crisis action planning supporting contingencies. Perform directed analysis of specific issues of concern regarding the framing of complex problem sets within Latin America and the Caribbean. Conduct analysis and develop planning recommendations for UW and IW. Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodology and results and provide work leadership to junior employees.
Basic Qualifications:
20+ years of experience in working with the U.S. military
5+ years of experience with Latin American and Caribbean affairs
Experience with Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) or Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) staff processes
Experience with Military Forces or management and support of Military Forces
Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish or Portuguese in a professional work environment
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with U.S. Special Operations
Knowledge of regional partner nation special operations and general purpose forces, capabilities, and requirements
Knowledge of regional and country planning, campaign or contingency planning, or a US country team
Ability to travel throughout the US, Latin America, and the Caribbean
Clearance:
