Commercial Oil and Natural Gas Account Leader

Key Role:

Drive and support the execution of commercial market relationship development and sales strategy across target industry verticals with a focus in Oil and Natural Gas. Lead and contribute to the successful support and execution of cyber security programs. Develop and maintain key senior client contacts and relationships across the commercial Oil and Natural Gas marketplace. Establish, maintain, and grow a pipeline for all capabilities. Leverage existing contacts and relationships to establish routine meetings and appointments with target stakeholders to collaborate on priority business and technical challenges with a focus on advanced capabilities and technologies. Introduce Booz Allen’s capability and industry experts to the target stakeholders to position and engage on client opportunities and share intellectual capital with target stakeholder to shape future opportunities and procurements. Build social capital within the client base and establish long term relationships built on trust.

Basic Qualifications:

-11+ years of experience with professional services firms, including leading and positioning technical solutions sales to large Fortune 100 clients or establishing technical lines of business in-house or for a large firm

-Experience with advisory consulting and building long term client relationships in a commercial marketplace for advisory services

-Experience with the technical and program management, implementing and delivering Cybersecurity projects in a complex environment

-Experience with developing and executing market strategies to sell to senior industry executives

-Ability to lead proposal efforts to position, engage, and close business for technical and professional services effectively

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with closing business deals focused on full life cycle project-based strategy, technology, and management consulting solutions in the commercial or private sector markets

-Experience in a similar role with a large system integrator or management consultancy in the commercial market, including selling advanced capabilities

-Experience with leveraging complex sales tools, including CRM, contact management, opportunity tracking, and lead management to compress sales and relationship development cycles

-Experience in working with all source intelligence analysis services, tradecraft, and technical services a plus

-Ability to grasp cross-functional subject matter, including people, process, and technology aspects of change across multiple business units

-Ability to follow through to achieve results

-Ability to be a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to be effective in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

-Possession of excellent business consulting and listening skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MBA or MS degree preferred
